BAKING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MINI TARTES

 

READ COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING OVEN.

 

IMPORTANT: BAKE TIME MAY VARY DEPENDING ON OVEN

 

 

*DO NOT DEFROST – KEEP FROZEN UNTIL READY TO USE*

*BAKE IN CONVENTIONAL OVEN ONLY*

*DO NOT BAKE IN MOCROWAVE OR TOASTER OVEN*

 

 

1)       PREHEAT OVEN TO 375° FOR 15 MINUTES

2)       PLACE TARTE (STILL I N ITS ALUMINUM PAN) ON BAKING SHEET. REMOVE PLASTIC WRAP FROM TOP.

3)       PUT BAKING SHEET WITH TARTE INTO OVEN.

4)       BAKE UNTIL THE TOP OF TARTE IS PUFFED AND GOLDEN BROWN, USUALLY BETWEEN 25-35 MINUTES.

5)       REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL FOR 2-3 MINUTES IN ORDER TO SET CARAMEL AND APPLES.

6)       PLACE A SERVING PLATE UPSIDE-DOWN OVER THE TARTE. PLATE MUST COMPLETELY COVER TARTE. TIGHTLY GRASP EACH SIDE OF PLATE, FINGERS OVER PLATE, AND THUMBS UNDER RIM OF ALUMINUM PAN.

7)       FLIP TARTE OVER IN A QUICK MOTION SO THE ALUMINUM PAN IS NOW ON TOP AND TARTE IS ON SERVING PLATE. GENTLY REMOVE ALUMINUM PAN FROM TOP. IF ANY CARAMEL REMAINS IN PAN, SCRAPE IT OVER THE APPLES.

8)       SERVE WARM, WITH OR WITHOUT A SCOOP OF ICE CREAM.
